Sonja is a British-American actress and voiceover artist, born in San Diego and now based in London. Raised between North America and the UK, she moves effortlessly between Standard American and RP English.
She began her voiceover career with Darkfield Radio’s immersive productions, including Visitors, which was nominated at the 2020 Raindance Film Festival for Outstanding Achievement in Audio and Best Narrative Experience. Since then, she has voiced for brands such as British Airways, Tortilla, and Chaiiwala, contributed to animations and films, and produced her own music videos.
Sonja’s voice, influenced by her passion for ASMR, carries a natural sensuality while offering remarkable versatility. She has voiced everything from cynical supervillainesses to hopeful young protagonists, and also delivers a wide range of US regional accents, improvised performances, and work in Spanish and Japanese.
Trained in music and movement, Sonja is a singer with a three-octave range and professional flamenco dancer since childhood. She has experience working with intimacy coordinators, animals, and children, holds a valid DBS check, and is expanding her skills in archery, gymnastics, and roller skating.
She holds dual US and UK passports and is available for projects worldwide.
