
Mari is a versatile Scottish actor hailing originally from Falkirk and now based in London. Within her theatre experience she has built a repertoire of character roles such as Penny Pingleton in the West End revival of Hairspray. She has a wide variety of work in regional theatre including Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, Oklahoma, Claus, Young Claire in Greatest Days (UK tour) and is gearing up to play the Ghost of Christmas Past in Christmas Carol (Lowry Theatre). Other theatre credits include; Yeast Nation (Southwark Playhouse), The Government Inspector (MTFest), Tainted (Workshop),Cinderella (Antony Law), Barbra in Night of the Living Dead (Pleasance Theatre),Cinderella (Mercury Theatre). She most recently just made her off-Broadway debut in the new Scottish musical Lifeline.
In 2014, Mari won the Young Scottish Musical Theatre Performer of the Year and graduated GSA (2017) with the Ian Fleming award as well as the Musical Theatre award.
