Clare is a trained Meisner actor and enjoys bringing the truthfulness of this training into her VO performances. Clare’s sound is warm with a cool and confident edge. Having grown up in Devon to Yorkshire born parents and spending most of her life in London and Kent, Clare’s natural accent is a neutral english, soft RP sound – which feels inclusive and is a popular choice for clients all over the world.
Best known for TV and Radio Commercials for brands including Colgate, Always, Coca Cola, British Heart Foundation, Hilary’s Blinds, BUPA, Pension Bee. Corporate Voiceover for the likes of European Space Agency, United Nations and more. She has also done extensive Voice of God announcing for Hyundai, Audi, Booking.com, Heavy Music Awards, AIM Independent Music Awards and Business Awards events across the UK.
A trained journalist and sound engineer, Clare is also a radio and podcast presenter and can be heard on programmes and podcasts. Trained also in animation VO, dubbing and ADR.
As well as being a skilled musician, when not voicing, presenting or acting, Clare can be found playing the saxophone in her own all-female saxophone quartet, playing bass guitar and singing.
