Style: storyteller, warm, smooth

Bio

Claire is a classically trained British actress and voice artist with nearly 40 years of experience across theatre, television, and audio. With a naturally smooth, warm RP/London delivery and exceptional character work, she brings depth, clarity, and emotional truth to every project.
Her versatility spans a wide range of British regional accents — from Yorkshire and Liverpool to the West Country and London — and she excels in creating distinct, believable voices for characters of all ages and personalities.
An accomplished audiobook narrator, Claire has recorded over 100 published titles. Her voice is also featured in gaming, animation, and independent productions. On stage, her career has taken her from period dramas to contemporary plays, and from intimate one-person shows to large-scale ensemble work. She is currently developing a solo theatre piece exploring the life of the artist Gluck, rich with LGBTQ+ themes.
Claire’s screen credits include roles in British television drama, comedy, and commercials. She also brings strong physical skills to her performances, with training in stage combat, period dance, and dynamic movement for screen and digital media.
She lives by the seaside in sunny Folkestone with her cantankerous sausage dog, Woody. A keen Parkrunner and lover of a good negroni, Claire brings the same energy and zest for life to her creative work as she does to her everyday adventures.
