Bio

Alex Chang is an award-winning actor and producer from London, his voice is bright and youthful and has the range to reach more sophisticated and reflective tones.

With Chinese heritage, he can speak conversational Cantonese and Mandarin along with a mix of UK/US accents such as Estuary English, Devon, Multicultural London English (MLE), American-Standard, American-West Coast, and American-Southern States.

Alex is a versatile performer with early acting credits spanning across theatre projects at venues such as The Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre & Theatre Royal Stratford East. He landed his first feature film in ‘Triumph In The Skies’ (2015) working with acclaimed directors Wilson Yip & Matt Chow. In 2021, Alex was cast as an original cast member of the multi award-winning ‘Life of Pi’ playing at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End.

He is also a Co-Founder of Paradox House – an award-winning creative studio based in London. Paradox House has produced 15+ features and has had films playing at Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and Sundance Film Festivals. Their work has been distributed through partners including Sony, Netflix, ARTE, the BBC, Universal, and Amazon Studios.

His voice work can be heard on ‘Just A Woman’ for BBC Radio 4 as well as ‘The Current: An Adventure in Karma’ for Audible. More recently, Alex’s voice work can be heard in ‘The Sandman’ for Audible, ‘Doctor Who’ for BBC, and the and the much-anticipated, upcoming Bond videogame titled, ‘007 First Light’.
