Alan Emrys is a versatile and accomplished voice artist and actor hailing from the working-class town of Caergybi, North Wales. A conversational Welsh speaker, Alan’s journey has been anything but conventional—spending five years in the Merchant Navy before training at the prestigious Drama Centre London. Since then, he has built a successful career across mainstream and independent screen productions, securing lead roles in both.

His notable credits include Netflix’s Young Wallander, BBC Studios’ The Canterville Ghost, and Channel 4’s That Girl, along with an award-winning performance in the independent short film The Wait. He also has a key role in an upcoming feature film currently in post-production, sharing the screen with several prominent industry figures.

Beyond acting, Alan is a dedicated martial artist, regularly training in Muay Thai and holding a 1st Dan in Wado Kai Karate. A keen observer of the world, he embraces diverse cultures through travel. Growing up, he was a self-confessed nerd with a deep love for gaming, animation, and storytelling—an enthusiasm that continues into adulthood. This passion has even led him into the world of motion capture (MOCAP) performance for an exciting, NDA-protected project.
