Vanessa is a Surrey-based artist, born and bred in the Home Counties and Cotswolds and trained at Manchester University and Mountview.

Having spent 25 years in London, she moved to the slightly less frenetic small town of Farnham where she lives with husband, two children and now a dog! She has had a varied career in theatre, and commercials to date and thrives on her natural comedy and dry wit for her other career as a Home Fragrance business owner which she promotes heavily on the socials both visually and vocally.

Her natural accent falls between RP and slight West Country but can heighten either to great effect. She speaks French to a very good level and has played French characters in the past on stage. Her General American accent is very proficient as evidenced when moving between English and American lead characters for a full-length audio book.

Her strength in voiceover lies in her ability to bring higher status characters to life with her vocal range being at the lower end of the scale with a natural authority; but she can also flip into character voices ranging from the childlike to the ridiculous with her natural comic timing.

She has experience in audiobooks, corporate role play, and podcasting and is extending her reach into the gaming industry.
