
Tanya is a British voiceover artist and actress from Surrey, trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. She works across stage and screen alongside a full-time voiceover career and records from her broadcast-quality home studio. Her voice can be heard on projects for clients including the BBC, Coca-Cola, The Dogs Trust and Shark Ninja.
With a clear, modern RP accent described as playful, bold and sophisticated, Tanya brings versatility to a wide range of voiceover genres. Her work spans commercials, radio drama, animation, corporate narration, audiobooks and more. An experienced actress, she is particularly strong in character work and storytelling, with a natural, conversational delivery and a love for scripts that allow humour and quirk to shine.
Tanya has a strong ear for accents, including General American, Southern American, Southern Irish, General Northern English, West Country, Welsh and Australian, enabling her to adapt easily to a variety of briefs.
Her musical theatre training has given her excellent physical awareness and stamina. She regularly attends dance classes in jazz, ballet, tap and lyrical, and also boulders to maintain strength and fitness. During drama school she gained a basic stage combat qualification, learning sword and knife fighting. This combination of movement training, choreography and combat means Tanya responds confidently to both physical and performance direction, fully embodying every character she plays.
Tanya works from a home studio equipped for live-directed sessions, using a Sennheiser MK4 condenser microphone with a Scarlett 2i2 interface. As a full-time voice actor, she is often able to turn projects around within 24 hours. Based within the M25, she is also easily commutable to London for in-studio work.
You can currently hear Tanya on TV commercials for the Ninja Lux Café coffee machine and the Shark Power Detect vacuum. She will also soon feature as the voice of a series of natural disaster documentaries due to air later this year.
