She has studied with top voiceover coaches including Lori Alan, Nic Redman, Carrie Olsen, Debra Sperling, and consistently pursues continuing training to keep her skills sharp.
Before becoming a full-time voiceover artist, Sion was an award-winning author and teacher. Her book “As a River” won the Writer’s Center First Novel Prize and the Crook’s Corner Book Prize for best debut novel set in the American South. Her love of storytelling runs through all of her work.
In addition to her eight years in Spain, Sion’s experience with different languages includes studying in Mexico and Ghana, and ten years living in Paris, where she acquired French nationality.
The majority of Sion’s work is in her naturally warm and rich General American accent. She is also comfortable with an American Southern accent (she grew up in North Carolina).
