Bio

Sharon Sexton is an award-winning West End performer and voice artist, originally from the Leinster region of Ireland. She has been recording voiceover work for over 20 years and was among the first voices used for Irish-English audiobooks and training programmes when they first emerged in 2003.

Sharon has led commercial campaigns for regional and national radio in Ireland, including RTÉ and Beat FM, and was the voice of the highly successful “Crack the Code” campaign.

She has also worked as a voiceover artist for companies such as Vodafone and O2, and voiced several minor characters in Irish-language television programmes for TG4.

In addition, Sharon has voiced radio commercials for La Roche-Posay, including their skin cancer awareness campaign.

With an assured, warm, friendly, and authentic tone, Sharon’s work cuts through commercial jargon and corporate language, making messages clear, accessible, and engaging. She delivers text with a wink, charm and a sense of dry humour, a quality for which she is particularly renowned.

Sharon also has an extensive career as a West End performer and vocalist, appearing in major productions such as Bat Out of Hell: The Musical, Mamma Mia!, and Billy Elliot. She has performed as a soloist on some of the largest stages across America, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

She is also a highly respected international vocal coach, a vocal rehabilitation specialist, a qualified contemporary singing teacher, and a tutor with Voice College, London.
