Saher is a British Pakistani Actor, Writer & Poet from East London. She is an alumni of the Soho and MFest Writers Lab and has received seed commissions to develop new writing. As an actor, her credits include Eastenders (BBC) and Vitamin D (Soho Theatre). Saher is a British Pakistani Actor, Writer & Poet from East London. As a writer she is an alumni of the Soho and MFest Writers Lab, the Rifco Associates programme and was an artist in residence with Rosemary Branch Theatre on their Shrill Voices programme. She has received seed commissions by Kahani arts & Rifco Theatre company to develop new writing and is currently working on a short film with MFest which is in preproduction. As an actor for stage and screen, her credits include Eastenders (BBC), Magid-Zafar (Film4/BFI), Vitamin D (Soho Theatre) and You Are Here As A Witness (Theatre in the Mill). Her play Vitamin D which she wrote and starred in was nominated for best production at the Asian Media Awards and won a Standing Ovation Award for Best Play raising awareness.
