Bio

Neil was born in Birmingham to Jamaican Parents and is a professionally trained Actor and has been a voiceover artist for over 10 years. His deep resonated voice and a variety of English and Caribbean accents has been used for numerous commercials as well as feature film trailers games, animated cartoons short stories audiobooks and continuity for companies such BBC radio4, DAB radio, Historic Palaces, History Channel, British Army, Visa Barlcaycard, Fanta, Sky, KFC, audible, ITV and Netflix.

Having trained at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, his acting credits include The Bodyguard (International tour), The Blacks (Young Vic), The Dispute (RSC), The Merchant of Venice, Pinnochio, Playland, The Dutchman (all at Birmingham Rep) Ticket to Write (Paines Plough), Tracey Beaker (Nottingham Playhouse and Hackney Empire) The Mousetrap (St Martin’s Theatre, West End London) Dr Who, The Detectorists, Eastenders, Casualty, Doctors (all for BBC) , The Level (ITV), Body Story (Channel 4). Hard Time Bus, Losing Innocence, IF, Pearl’s of Africa, An Ill wind, Almost Saw the Sunshine , Birthday Treat.

Neil has won The BFI Best Actor Award for his Portrayal of ‘Darren’ in Birthday Treat and was nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of ‘Mark’ in Hard Time Bus at The American Black Film Festival Awards He has recently written, directed and performed a One Man show called Without at The Omnibus Theatre Courtyard Theatre and the White Bear Theatre in London for which he received a nomination as Best Male Lead Actor in the Black British Theatre Awards 2024.

He can now be seen in his featured role as ‘Officer Ruud’ in the Netflix series Narco Saints.

Neil has also worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company and has had featured roles on TV and in audio stories for the iconic award-winning TV Show Dr Who .
