Bio

Miztli Rose is a RADA-trained actor, multi-award-nominated comedian, and writer of British and Mexican heritage, based between Hampshire and London.

Passionate about character work and animation, she has a bright, authentic, millennial voice that is both engaging and versatile. Miztli has been a series regular on Netflix’s Gecko’s Garage for three years, voicing Katelina Felina — a fearless Mexican rescue cat. Her voice also features in the chilling horror podcast Please Leave, and she has hosted two original podcast series: Heroine Addicts and Sane Time, Sane Place.

This year, she stars in the new sci-fi radio drama Burnout from Alternative Stories, playing Iris, a psychotic AI with a mind of her own. A skilled impersonator and conversational Spanish speaker, Miztli brings precision, playfulness, and depth to every project. She is also trained in stage combat (unarmed, rapier & dagger), adding physicality and dynamism to her performances.

Outside the booth, Miztli is a trained Vinyasa yoga teacher, a proficient stand-up paddleboarder, and has basic surf skills. She regularly collaborates with her partner, Fergus Shipman — a professional sound engineer and music producer — giving her projects a polished, production-ready finish.

Miztli currently has access to a home recording setup, including RØDE microphones and Blue Yeti, with editing on Logic and Audacity, supported by professional post-production expertise.
