As a visually impaired artist, her dream is to continue to work with a great mix of creative minds and tell stories, particularly those from voices that have not been heard from in the past.
She is passionate about changing perceptions about disabilities and capabilities. Maisie has recently relocated back to Gloucestershire, where she grew up, but retains a London base. Natural accent is soft RP and Maisie is also able to use her primary accents of West Country and Estuary as well as heightened RP.
Maisie has an ear for accents, so can authentically produce a general US accent and Southern US as well as Scottish, Northern Irish, Welsh, General Northern, Australian and South African.
Maisie’s highly versatile voice, capable of portraying a wide range of ages, characters, and even creatures, makes her perfect for animation and audiobooks, particularly for children.
Her performance range is showcased in Unseen, a gripping new audio drama by Extant, in which she plays both a teenager and the disembodied Voice of the Report. Unseen won the Digital Inclusion Award at the 2025 Digital Culture Awards.
