Lowri is a Welsh actress and comedy writer from South Wales, proudly neurodivergent and disabled. A RADA graduate, she brings sharp intelligence, emotional range, and vibrant charisma to every performance—on screen, on stage, and behind the mic.
Fluent in both Welsh and English, she delivers in her native accents (Welsh and RP) and has a keen ear for others, including American Standard, Cockney, Edinburgh, Heightened RP, London, Lancashire, and French.
Best known for her acting roles as PC Mari James in both series of the acclaimed bilingual BBC drama Hidden (Craith), Lowri has also appeared in Casualty, Doctors, Sitters (BBC Three), and Doctor Who. Her film credits include the BAFTA Cymru-nominated Y Sŵn and the Sundance hit Brian and Charles, for which she was longlisted for BAFTA Breakthrough in 2022.
Lowri is also a lifelong gamer with a love for immersive storytelling, particularly in RPGs, and is passionate about animation—especially where music plays a central role.
Her performance skills extend beyond the booth and screen. A classically trained dancer (Grade 8 Ballet) with additional training in tap, jazz, folk, and flamenco, Lowri is also an award-winning stage combat performer, having received the Henry Marshall Prize Fight Award at RADA. She keeps her physicality sharp with regular weight training, yoga, and pilates.
A versatile and experienced voice artist, Lowri has worked across radio drama, commercial voiceover, and musical recording. She has a warm, engaging vocal quality and is a skilled singer with a natural flair for storytelling.
