Bio

Kirsty is a Scottish actor, based in Hertfordshire. Originally from Glasgow, she has a strong ear for accents, covering a range of Scottish and wider UK dialects. She is very versatile, working in video gaming, radio, narration and ADR, as well as film, television and theatre.

She has an upbeat, dynamic, trustworthy voice.

She is also a skilled singer, covering classical and popular styles. Kirsty has a particular love of animation and gaming, using her accent skill and creativity to portray a wide array of characters.

With her natural Glaswegian accent, she can also do Neutral Scottish, Edinburgh, RP, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Estuary English, West Country, Standard American and Southern American if required. She also speaks conversational French.

Kirsty has worked on several video games including ‘Peaks of Yore’. She enjoys radio work, having notably portrayed Lulu in the BBC Radio biopic dramas Lulu of a Kid and Lulu’s Back in Town. Kirsty regularly records audio-plays as part of new writing workshops, is a skilled session singer and enjoys recording audiobooks. She also works in ADR, credits including The Nest (BBC).

Since being trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The Dance School of Scotland, you may have also seen Kisty as Violet in The Crown (Netflix); Carolyn in Boys in the Boat (MGM/Amazon) or Stella Jacklin in Doctors (BBC). Alongside her theatre roles as Manda in Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour (West End/National Theatre); Jess in Lifeline (Off-Broadway) Margot in Restless Natives (UK Tour); Nikki in This Is My Family (Chichester Festival Theatre); Chava in Fiddler on the Roof (Menier Chocolate Factory); Alice in Protest (UK Tour).
