
Geoffrey MacCarthy is a British actor born and raised in East London. The youngest of three brothers, his early exposure to the diverse rhythms of city life sparked his passion for storytelling. With a naturally rich, engaging, and versatile voice, Geoffrey brings authenticity and depth to a wide range of projects, from commercials and animation to video games and beyond.
Despite his passion for storytelling, Geoffrey initially pursued pharmacy, graduating from the University of Bath in 2017 and working in the pharmaceutical industry for several years. However, his deep-seated desire to tell compelling, authentic stories led him to switch careers and dive headfirst into acting.
Whether in intense, larger-than-life performances or roles that require sharp comedic timing, Geoffrey’s talent continues to captivate audiences on screen and behind the mic. On screen, he stars as Robert Ford in The Gray House, an upcoming Civil War spy drama from Paramount Global, executive produced by Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner and directed by Oscar-nominated Roland Joffé. He has also shone in guest lead roles in BBC’s Doctors and Holby City.
Adept in the voiceover world, Geoffrey’s rich, expressive storytelling brings characters to life across a variety of formats. From his recent narration work in the short film Volunteer Responder to his contributions for Listening Books, a charity chaired by Stephen Fry, Geoffrey’s voice continues to captivate.
