Bio

Emma is the go-to for brands looking for a voice that instills trust and confidence, while oozing the warmth and approachability of a chat with your best friend.

With an immaculate soft RP accent, you’ll likely have heard Emma on radio and TV ads, online commercials, corporate explainers and e-learning for international brands including Visa, Virgin Atlantic, Audi, L’Oréal, Tui, PayPal, Amazon, Disney, Netflix and many more.

Emma specialises in commercial and corporate voice over work and, although she lives in southern England, her family’s northern roots means she can also faithfully replicate a generalised northern accent. Along with a love of French and a background in the medical industry, she’s confident in voicing non-English words and highly complex scripts.

Having invested in extensive training by industry-leading coaches including Richcraft, alongside qualifications in Speech and Drama, Emma can competently turn her hand to any voice acting genre. She was presented the One Voice Award for her e-learning narration and records, edits and masters her work from her home-based, professional studio for unsurpassed audio quality. Her home studio allows her to work seamlessly with directors around the globe, so she’s exceptionally easy to work with and prides herself on fast turnarounds and quality that exceeds client expectations.

Although Emma has been a full time voice actor for five years, her 30-year background in radio, TV and marketing adds an in-depth understanding of the production process; from audio-editing with precision to understanding how words fit to pictures, and from crafting audio that converts audiences to truly understanding the intention behind a script, Emma’s extensive experience in the broadcast and communications industry give her the edge in understanding the entire process of creating compelling content.

Her work in radio production and presentation led to several awards, including a Sony award for work during her career at the BBC.
