He is a professionally trained vocal performer from London with a master’s degree in Voice from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He brings warmth, versatility, and expert control to every performance with his rich, friendly tone, perfect for commercials, narration, and character-driven work.

Carl has a native Standard Southern English or Modern RP accent, but his acute ear for accents and dialects makes him highly adept at portraying characters from all over the globe.

He is especially highly skilled in an array of American accent from New York to California as well as accents from all over the UK and Ireland, some of which include Cockney, Liverpudlian, Edinburgh, Bristolian, Southern Welsh, Sheffield, Geordie and Dublin.

Carl isn’t just a versatile voice, but also a professional dialect coach, teaching and studying accents all over the world when he isn’t performing himself. He is also experienced in live theatre, motion capture, stage combat and puppetry.

His work spans narration, audio dramas, video games, and performance capture, including projects for Disney and Marvel, where he brought Rocket Raccoon to life with both voice and mocap in a live theatre environment and live theatre collaborations with Netflix and Stranger Things.

As a partially deaf actor, Carl has worked long and hard to fine-tune his listening skills to an exceptional degree, allowing him to master vocal nuances with precision, despite his hearing loss.
