Carl has a native Standard Southern English or Modern RP accent but his acute ear for accents and dialects makes him highly adept at portraying characters from all over the globe. Carl is a partially deaf actor but has never let this get in the way of his work or performances. In fact, as a partially deaf actor, he has worked hard to fine-tune his listening skills to an exceptional degree, allowing him to master vocal nuances with precision.

His work spans narration, audio dramas, video games, and performance capture, including projects for Disney and Marvel, where he brought Rocket Raccoon to life with both voice and mocap in a live theatre environment.

Carl is not only a vocal performer but a fully qualified voice and dialect coach, helping actors and professionals all over the world train their voices. He is also experienced in stage combat and puppetry.
