April Hughes trained at East 15 School for Acting and has since performed in shows such as Harry Potter and the Cursed child as ‘Moaning Myrtle’, ‘Sandra’ in the west end comedy The Play That Goes wrong and most recently The Guildford Shakespeare Companies Romeo and Juliet and Pride And Prejudice as ‘Juliet’ and ‘Lizzie Bennet’. Her voice work includes a three year series regular in the CBBC show Dixi, Peppy Gelfling in Netflix’s The Dark Crystal and most recently, 6 year old ‘Ruby’ for Tonies Toy box, a Toy that comes to life telling stories and singing songs for kids.
